Google AI Studio is a developer workspace for testing Gemini prompts and exploring API-oriented workflows. It is separate from the consumer Gemini chat product and does not make an API application production-ready by itself. Use it to try a small documented input, inspect the answer and obtain sample integration code. Structured output can make a response easier to parse, but the content still needs independent checks. It fits prototyping and model exploration; a deployed application additionally needs its own authentication, usage controls and error handling.
