Sudowrite

AI fiction-writing workspace for developing stories, expanding scenes, and revising prose with writing-focused models.

Develop a story idea, work through a scene, and revise generated passages for consistency with your characters and plot.

Access and pricing: Paid subscriptions use credits. A free trial is offered without a credit card; trial access is not a permanent free plan.

What it does well

Based on the pricing page, Sudowrite is priced for fiction writers: plans are tied to credits, and the top tier lets unused credits roll over for 12 months, which suits authors who write in bursts.

Who gets the most from it

Novelists and screenwriters who want help developing scenes and revising prose while keeping control of their story.

Getting started in 10 minutes

Start the trial, paste a scene, ask for an expansion or revision, and compare it against your characters and plot.

Limits to check before you commit

Hobby & Student is $10 per month with 225,000 credits, Professional is $22, and Max is $44 with 2,000,000 credits. The page showed two different credit figures for Professional (1,000,000 and 450,000), so confirm before subscribing. A free trial is offered on all plans without a credit card, but the length is not stated. After cancelling, projects stay accessible but AI features require a paid plan.
